HC was an internet community I used to host that operated from ~2008-2023.
The Discord server still exists here, but it's frozen and archived.
Why shut it down?
HC encompassed my childhood from start to finish. While I wouldn't change anything, it was definitely time to move on. The server had become increasingly full of vicious, frustrated people with a younger average age range than I felt comfortable moderating.
A large group of members moved to its sister community, CAPSLOCK.CAFE (itself now having its own tenured history), with game services largely moving to 38.fail.
